Warren E. Albert, SRA


Warren E. Albert, SRA, founded Allstate Appraisal in 1959 and under his leadership grew Allstate into one of the largest and most respected appraisal firms in Chicago. His extensive service in the industry has provided employment opportunities for hundreds of local appraisers over the years. Mr. Albert also devoted considerable time teaching others, having instructed appraisal courses at the Chicago City College, Joliet Junior College, and Prairie State College. In addition, he served as Chicago Chapter President of the NAIFA, and taught a variety of appraisal courses for their educational curriculum, nationally.

Steven S. Albert, MAI, SRA


Steven S. Albert is the President of Allstate Appraisal, L.P. His professional credentials include the MAI and SRA designations from the Appraisal institute, as well as Certified General Licensure in the states of Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. Under his leadership, Allstate has grown into one of the nation’s premier providers of valuation and appraisal review services to a diverse list of local and national clients. His area of expertise includes forensic appraisal review, litigation-support services and building successful client relationships based on meeting or exceeding their professional expectations of Allstate.

Scott Sparks

Senior Vice President, National Chief Appraiser

Scott Sparks is the SVP National Chief Appraiser for Allstate Appraisal. Prior to joining Allstate, Scott served as the National Residential Chief Appraiser for one of the nation's top 12 lending institutions. Scott was well-recognized for his unwavering commitment to appraisal quality, and today he continues that tradition by overseeing Allstate’s highly respected quality control divisions to help ensure their qualitative advantages continue to set the industry bar by consistently reflecting strict compliance with all applicable regulatory standards.

Justin Genis

Vice President, Operations Manager

Justin Genis began his appraisal career in 2003, working with Allstate’s National Appraisal Review Division and gaining substantial experience in preparing defensible and effective forensic reviews for a diverse group of clientele that included the GSE’s as well as all of the nation’s leading mortgage insurance companies. In 2007 Justin was promoted to VP of Residential Quality Control for Allstate, and in 2013, Justin was promoted to VP, Operations Manager where quality and service remain his operational focal points.

Michelle M. Seitz

Vice President, Controller

Michelle is the Vice President and Controller for Allstate Appraisal.   Michelle is an accomplished financial professional with diverse experience in multiple business sectors including Fortune 500.  She brings 25 years of experience to Allstate and functions as the chief accounting executive responsible for the oversight of all accounting, internal control and financial reporting activities.  Michelle is a driver for operational and financial efficiency, who establishes core metrics that optimize team performance.  Michelle holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from St. Xavier University in Chicago as well as a B.B.A. with a concentration in Accounting.  She is also a member of the Institute of Management Accountants. 

Laura Parish

Compliance Officer

Laura Parish is the Compliance Officer at Allstate Appraisal. Her focus is on ensuring that compliance is being maintained and that policies and procedures are meeting the requirements of all regulatory agencies and clients. Other responsibilities include, communicating all regulatory policy updates to the company, managing and evaluating internal policies, and implementing strategies to improve internal process. Prior to joining Allstate, Laura was a licensed property and casualty insurance broker for over 20 years specializing in residential and commercial real estate. Laura graduated from DePauw University, majoring in Economics with a minor in Organizational Business Psychology.

James Bosco, SRA

Forensic Appraisal Review Divisional Manager

James is our Forensic Appraisal Review Divisional Manager. He is the liaison between our mortgage insurance clients and our vendors. James ensures that the client is provided with well supported, credible and defensible reports, and also manages our consulting services for this sector of our client-base. James attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL where he obtained his B.S. in Speech Communication specializing in Public Relations and Minored in Journalism – ideal educational background for the forensic types of assignments James manages for Allstate. He was awarded his SRA designation by the Appraisal Institute in 1997 and has been appraising since 1992. James continues to expand his responsibilities at Allstate and is transitioning into commercial appraisal and review in addition to his current role in our specialty residential divisions.

Michael Kowalski, SRA

Senior Quality Control Manager

Michael is one of our Senior Quality Control Managers. His responsibilities include managing the Quality Control Review team for our GSE-related forensic appraisal review division, along with providing the review and quality control on some of our most complex appraisals. Michael has over thirty five years of experience in the appraisal industry; and he spent eight of those years as a dedicated staff member here at Allstate. Mike is also the former President of The Appraisal Institute, Chicago Chapter. Prior to obtaining his appraiser license, Michael attended and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History from Loyola University of Chicago.  

Linda Radavich

Processing Manager

Linda Radavich is the Processing Manager at Allstate Appraisal. She’s managed the processing team at the Mokena branch for over three years. Linda oversees the processing team of nine to ensure the timely beginning to end processing of each order. She monitor’s the pipeline, including performing appropriate client/vendor follow ups to address any issues so a report can be delivered in a timely manner. Linda maintains an in-depth understanding of operation systems and business processes in order to improve data quality and the order turn time. She also maintains a thorough knowledge of current service level standards for assigned clients. Before joining Allstate, Linda worked in the financial industry as a Mortgage Loan Processor for eight years with an extensive history in the banking field in other departments prior to that.  

Melissa Daly, SRA

Quality Control Manager

Melissa is the Quality Control Manger at Allstate. She oversees the daily workload and flow of incoming appraisal reports along with managing and training the QC Staff. Melissa is involved in inter-departmental communications and procedures to streamline processes; vendor and client communications regarding reporting issues; keeping conversant with the ever-changing practices and procedures of the appraisal profession. She was awarded her SRA professional designation by the Appraisal Institute in August, 1989 and has been appraising since 1985.

Nick Honiotes

Vendor Manager

Nick Honiotes is the Vendor Manager at Allstate Appraisal and has been involved in the real estate appraising industry for the past seven years. Nick’s responsibilities include ensuring the compliance of policies and procedures with federal regulatory agencies, and recruitment strategy. Other areas of responsibilities include; communicating appraisal policy updates within the vendor panel, managing and evaluating Allstate Appraisal’s vendor panel, and implementing strategies to provide clients with the most efficient appraisal process. Prior to becoming the vendor manager with Allstate Appraisal, Nick was an appraisal reviewer within the mortgage insurance department of Allstate Appraisal, and specialized in risk management, compliance, and quality control. Nick graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Political Science and English.

Brandon Nappi

Post-Completion QC Manager

Brandon Nappi is the Post-Completion QC Manager at Allstate Appraisal. He’s lead a team in the Mokena, Illinois branch for the last three years that is dedicated to the delivery and post completion needs of clients. After the quality control review has been performed, Brandon and his team complete the final steps, which entail the packaging, delivering and invoicing of files. Brandon also focuses on the requests of clients after the report has been delivered.

Tanya Thomas-Mixon

Local Operations and Processing Manger

Tanya is our Local Operations/Processing Manger, and has been a part of the Allstate Appraisal family for thirty four years, second in tenure only to our founder Warren E. Albert.  In her primary role, Tanya oversees and manages the operations for our local residential and commercial divisions and ensures that our clients’ service expectations are being met consistently. Tanya serves as the liaison between Allstate’s local clients and our staff appraisers.

Elizabeth Raymond

Business Analyst

Elizabeth is a Business Analyst at Allstate Appraisal and provides executive reporting and implements process improvement solutions within her department. She became part of the Allstate team as our Vendor Coordinator in 2012; and managed the appraiser vendor application process. She maintained and monitored panel compliance to ensure that Allstate meets the required guidelines and regulations.
