The appraisal process starts with assigning the right appraiser to the job based on the scope of work. Once the best appraiser for the scope has been assigned, the appraiser will visit the property and perform the appraisal based on industry best practices. From there, the initial draft appraisal will be reviewed by our review appraisal. Any defects or errors will be flagged and sent back for correction. The corrected appraisal will then be reviewed again. Reviewed work will then be submitted to the chief appraiser for final sign-off and approval. Throughout the process, we keep the client apprised of any updates. Once the report has been approved, we’ll hand it over to the client and guide them through it. Finally, we have a robust rebuttal process in place. If the report are challenged, we’ll be ready to defend our findings.
